Abdeen Mustafa Omer (BSc, MSc, PhD) is an associate researcher at Energy Research Institute (ERI). He obtained both his PhD degree in the built environment and master of philosophy degree in renewable energy technologies from the university of nottingham. He is qualified mechanical engineer with a proven track record within the water industry and renewable energy technologies. He has been graduated from university of El menoufia, Egypt, BSc in mechanical engineering. His previous experience involved being a member of the research team at the national council for research/energy research institute in Sudan and working director of research and development for national water equipment manufacturing Co. Ltd., Sudan. He has been listed in the book “who’s who” in the World 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2010. He has published over 300 papers in peer-reviewed journals, 200 review articles, 7 books and 150 chapters in books.

Dr. Christina Leung completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular Cell Biology at the University of California, Berkeley. She graduated Beta Sigma Kappa from Southern California College of Optometry to receive her Doctor of Optometry degree. Her extensive training includes professional internships at the VA Medical Center of West Los Angeles, VA Ambulatory Care Center of Los Angeles, and the Optometric Center of Los Angeles. She has worked with the Foothill Center for the Vision Impaired and Partially Sighted and at the Low Vision Department of Rehabilitation Clinic. She has also provided eye care exams to students attending California State University, Fullerton and was involved in local school vision screening programs.Dr. Leung is a glaucoma certified optometrist licensed by the State Board of Optometry of California. She is experienced in the detection, treatment, and management of eye diseases such as cataracts, glaucoma, allergies, and dry eyes. In addition to prescribing eyeglasses and contact lenses, Dr. Leung is dedicated to providing quality care for patients with a wide variety of eye conditions and patients undergoing LASIK and cataract surgery. Dr. Leung is also certified in Corneal Refractive Therapy (CRT), a non-surgical process to reshape the eye with therapeutic lenses during sleep to correct for nearsightedness. She is committed to providing individualized and personal care through educating her patients on their ocular health and care.

Dr. Burton M. Altura is currently working as a Professor of Physiology, Pharmacology & Medicine State University of New York Downstate Medical Center. He completed his Ph.D. from Newyork University School of Medicine. He published many articles. Dr. Burton M. Altura studies address the two most important issues in vascular biology today: stroke mechanisms; and irreversible cellular destruction in the cardiovascular system caused by alcohol and substance abuse. These studies have already led to the prevention of atherosclerotic lesions, hypertension and stroke-like events in experimental animal models.

Biography :

Kate studied Pharmacy at the University of Nottingham, UK, graduating in 1994, and completed her pre-registration training at King's College Hospital, London, joining the register as a pharmacist in 1995. She gained a Postgraduate Diploma in Pharmacy Practice in 1999 and worked in a number of clinical specialities over her 20 years as an NHS hospital pharmacist. Having developed a particular interest in teaching and training, Kate was a pre-registration pharmacist tutor and postgraduate diploma tutor for eight years. In 2005, she joined the University of Reading School of Pharmacy as its first Teacher Practitioner and was instrumental in developing the first MPharm programme at the School. Moving into academia full time in 2015, Kate became a Lecturer in Pharmacy, and relocated to Malaysia to join the Pharmacy team at UoRM, where she is now Head of Pharmacy. Kate became a Senior Fellow of the Higher Education Academy in 2017 and in the same year completed a Master’s in Education with the Open University (UK). She also was awarded a University of Reading Teaching Fellowship, a prestigious award conferred on an individual who has demonstrated individual excellence and contributed to the development of teaching and learning within the University.

Francisco Lopez-Munoz studied Medicine at Complutense University (Madrid). He received his Ph.D. Degree in Medicine at Complutense University in 1993, with a Thesis on postnatal development of the rat pineal gland after chemical denervation that won the Doctorate Extraordinary Award. During her pre- and post-doctoral training, he worked in neurohistology at the Department of Cellular Biology of the Complutense University. He is a specialist in Pharmaceutical Medicine. Between 1992 and 2009, he worked in the pharmaceutical industry (Juste, S.A.Q.F.), as Medical Director. After 1996 he is honorary research Professor at the Pharmacology Department of the University of Alcala, working primarily in the field of Neuropsychopharmacology. Currently, he is Professor of Pharmacology at Camilo Jose Cela University (Madrid). Dr. Lopez-Munoz is editor/author of 14 books, highlighting its History of Psychopharmacology (3 volumes; Editorial Medica Panamericana, 2007), and Neurobiology of Depression (Taylor & Francis Group LLC, in press), and 138 chapters of books related to the psychopharmacology. He has published 105 papers on indexed journals with impact factor and 163 in Spanish journals. He has participated in 108 scientific meetings and is the member of many scientific societies (including Collegium Internationale Neuro-Psychopharmacologicum) and editorial boards, including European Journal of Pharmacology and Frontiers in Psychopharmacology. Dr. Lopez-Munoz has participated, as Visiting Professor and Director, in postgraduate and doctorate courses from different Spanish academic centers.

Dr.Jorge I. González Borroto is a Toxicologist with more than 15 years of expertise in the field of Toxicology, Pharmacovigilance and Drug safety assessment. He has worked for many Pharma Companies and Contract Research Organizations. He is currently working as a Senior Toxicologist, involved in Pharmacovigilance to support the efficacy, safety and well-use of medicines, in Ferrer Internacional, Barcelona, Spain. He is also the director of in vitro and in vivo toxicological studies in drug development and drug-candidate selection. He has more than 10 years of Experience in toxicological data interpretation, preparation of nonclinical toxicology-safety report, reviews and summaries of safety of new drugs to support clinical studies, predictive toxicology, Set up and validation of novel test and cell-based assays in drug discovery. He is also the Reviewer of the Journals of Toxicology and Editorial Board Member of several scientific journals and Organizing Committee Member of several Scientific events. Henry M. Sobell completed his studies at Brooklyn Technical High School (1948- 1952), Columbia College (1952-1956), and the University of Virginia School of Medicine (1956-1960). Instead of practicing clinical medicine, he then went to the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) to join Professor Alexander Rich in the Department of Biology (1960-1965), where, as a Helen Hay Whitney Postdoctoral Fellow, he learned the technique of single crystal X-ray analysis. He then joined the Chemistry Department at the University of Rochester, having been subsequently jointly appointed to both the Chemistry and Molecular Biophysics departments (the latter at the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry), becoming a full tenured Professor in both departments (1965-1993). He is now retired and living in the Adirondacks in New York, USA.

Dr. Stephen F. Amato has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology and medical device industries. Prior to his position as Faculty Director of Graduate Regulatory Affairs & Life Sciences at Northeastern University, Steve was the Founder and Managing Director of tJun17 Life Sciences, LLC, and also a Managing Director for Cardinal Health Regulatory Sciences (CHRS). As an Executive Director at Anika Therapeutics Steve managed all aspects of the company's product portfolio including regulatory, reimbursement, market segmentation, targeting, positioning, pricing and promotional strategies. From 2000 to 2007 he was the Group Director of Knee Repair at Smith & Nephew Endoscopy where he managed a $140 M orthopedic product portfolio. Earlier in his career, Steve worked for Visible Genetics, where he was responsible for developing and launching genomic molecular diagnostics products used for subtyping Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) and other infectious disease agents. He has also worked with Critical Therapeutics on the development and commercialization of treatments for gram-negative sepsis. Steve holds an AB in Biochemical Sciences from Harvard University, a Ph.D. in Molecular and Cellular Biology from Boston College’s Graduate School of Arts & Sciences, and an MBA from the Carroll School of Graduate Management at Boston College. He has also received the US and EU Regulatory Affairs Certification (RAC) designations and is a Consultant for the Regulatory Affairs Professional Society (RAPS).

The organizer holds no responsibilities or liabilities of the personal articles of attendees at the venue against any kind of theft, loss, damage, due to any reason whatsoever. Delegates are entirely responsible for the safety of their own belongings.

Insurance

No insurance, of any kind, is included along with the registration in any of the events of the organization.

Transportation

Please note that transportation and parking is the responsibility of the registrant, Allied Academies will not be liable for any actions howsoever related to transportation and parking.

Press/Media

Press permission must be obtained from Allied Academies Conference Organizing Committee prior to the event. The press will not quote speakers or delegates unless they have obtained their approval in writing. The Allied Academies is an objective third-party nonprofit organization and this conference is not associated with any commercial meeting company.

Requesting an Invitation Letter

For security purposes, letter of invitation will be sent only to those individuals who had registered for the conference after payment of complete registration fee. Once registration is complete, please contact

to request a personalized letter of invitation, if not received until one month before the scheduled date of the event.

All the bank charges applicable during refund will be deducted from the account of the participant.

Cancellation Policy

All cancellations or modifications of registration must be made in writing to finance@alliedacademies.com 

If due to any reason, Allied academies postpone an event on the scheduled date, the participant is eligible for a credit of 100% of the registration fee paid. This credit shall only be used for another event organized by Allied academies within the period of one year from the date of rescheduling.

Postponement of event

If due to any reason, Allied academies postpone an event and the participant is unable or unwilling to attend the conference on rescheduled dates, he/she is eligible for a credit of 100% of the registration fee paid. This credit shall only be used for another event organized by Allied academies within the period of one year from the date of rescheduling.

Transfer of registration

All registrations, after payment of complete registration fee, are transferable to other persons from the same organization, if in case the person is unable to attend the event. Request for transfer of registration must be made by the registered person in writing to finance@alliedacademies.com.

Details must include the full name of replaced new registrant, their title, contact phone number and email address. All other registration details will be assigned to the new person unless otherwise specified.

Registration can be transferred to one conference to another conference of Allied academies if the person is unable to attend one of the conferences.

However, Registration cannot be transferred if intimated within 14 days of the respective conference.

The transferred registrations will not be eligible for Refund.

Visa Information

Keeping in view of increased security measures, we would like to request all the participants to apply for Visa as soon as possible.

Allied academies will not directly contact embassies and consulates on behalf of visa applicants. All delegates or invitees should apply for Business Visa only.

Important note for failed visa applications: Visa issues are not covered under the cancellation policy of Allied academies, including the inability to obtain a visa.

 Refund Policy:

If the registrant is unable to attend and is not in a position to transfer his/her participation to another person or event, then the following refund policies apply:

Keeping in view of advance payments towards Venue, Printing, Shipping, Hotels and other overhead charges, following Refund Policy Orders are available:

·         Before 60 days of the conference: Eligible for Full Refund after deduction of $100 towards service Fee.

·         Within 60-30 days of Conference: Eligible for 50% of payment Refund

·         Within 30 days of Conference: Not eligible for Refund

·         E-Poster Payments will not be refunded.

Accommodation Cancellation Policy:

Accommodation Service Providers (Hotels) have their own cancellation policies which are applicable when cancellations are made less than 30 days prior to arrival. If in case the registrant wishes to cancel or amend the accommodation, he/ she is expected to inform the organizing authorities on a prior basis. Allied academies will advise the registrant to ensure complete awareness of the cancellation policy of your accommodation provider, prior to cancellation or modification of their booking.
